Internal Regulation

1. Purpose and Scope

1.1. These principles define the establishment and working principles of the Education Program Evaluation Board, established to continuously and systematically evaluate the Undergraduate Education Program of SDU Faculty of Medicine.

Definitions

At SDU Faculty of Medicine, an education program based on organ systems, horizontally and vertically integrated, and oriented toward the community's priority health problems, is implemented. The EPDK was established to continuously and systematically evaluate it.

2. Structure

2.1. The Board consists of the Dean, vice deans, the Chief Coordinator, deputy chief coordinators, year coordinators, and faculty of the Department of Medical Education and Informatics, with balanced representation of clinical and basic sciences, vertical corridors, and the Department of Medical Education (TEAD). 2.2. Members are appointed by the Dean for 3 years. 2.3. Secretarial services by the Education-Training Chief Coordinatorship.

3. Purpose

3.1. To evaluate and monitor the Faculty's undergraduate medical education program and its operation, make recommendations, and submit them to the Undergraduate Medical Education Board.

4. Duties

a) evaluate program effectiveness and ensure improvements; b) define and revise evaluation methods and tools; c) provide and evaluate data; d) evaluate program operation; e) ensure vertical and horizontal integration; f) align the program with the National Core Education Program, national regulations, and international developments.

5. Working Procedure

5.1. Meets once a month; the chair convenes meetings and submits decisions to the Dean's Office. 5.2. It places on its agenda topics proposed by the Undergraduate Medical Education Board. 5.3. It submits its results in report form to the Dean's Office.

6. Entry into Force

6.1. Enters into force as of the date approved by the Faculty Board.

7. Execution

7.1. The Dean of SDUTF is responsible.
