Internal Regulation

1. Purpose and Scope

1.1. To regulate the structure, duties and operation of the SDUTF Social Contribution Coordination Board (TKKK).

2. Structure

2.1. 7 faculty members from Internal, Surgical and Basic Medical Sciences (one being the Deputy Chief Physician responsible for the Hospital's social contribution), 1 administrative staff, and 1 undergraduate + 1 graduate student. 2.2. Appointed by the Dean for 3 years. 2.3. Chaired by the Dean or a designated Vice Dean.

3. Duties

3.1. To ensure faculty understand the activities in the SDU Social Contribution Information Brochure and keep the Faculty informed. 3.2. To set goals per policy, support work with the University Hospital, and coordinate among units. 3.3. To monitor activities with performance indicators and submit improvement recommendations to the Dean's Office.

4. Working Method

4.1. Chaired by the Dean (or Vice Dean). 4.2. Meets at least four times a year and when called. 4.3. Absolute majority; decisions by majority; the chair's vote breaks ties. 4.4. Submits an annual report in December; publishes the plan by January; prepares the next year's plan each December.

5. Entry into Force

5.1. Enters into force as of the date approved by the Faculty Board.

6. Execution

6.1. The Dean is responsible.
