HISTORY Our department, 25 April 1994, Dr. Hüseyin Yorgancıgil began operations with the appointment to the faculty. In July of the same year, Isparta State Hospital for Chest Diseases Hospital in the garden on the ground floor along with the work of our department clinic first began their specialist training research assistants. So far, Süleyman Demirel University School of Medicine in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, 23 research assistants completed their training and expertise in various parts of our country as a Specialist in Orthopaedics and Traumatology began to serve. PRACTICE AREAS of THE DEPARTMENT In our clinic for all kinds of musculoskeletal disease and injury treatment services are offered. In our clinic hip, knee, shoulder and ankle joint replacements (prostheses) can be done. At the same time unicondylar knee prostheses implemented successfully. All kinds of spine surgery (fractures, scoliosis, curvature of the spine, narrow spinal canal and spinal fractures due to osteoporosis surgical treatment of the closed procedure (vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty) can be made. Off surgery about cartilage and meniscus known as arthroscopic surgery, particularly knee and shoulder joints, including the ankles are also available. 24 hours a day 365 days a year of fractures and dislocations, inflammatory diseases and other orthopedic diseases are treated in emergency. All orthopedic problems and birth defects in children are treated in our clinic.
