The International Success of Our Faculty's Term 6 Student Int. Dr. Sebahat Ulusan

Sebahat Ulusan, a student mentored by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mevlüt Serdar Kuyumcu, who is a faculty member in the Department of Cardiology at our Faculty, participated in the European Society of Cardiology Heart Failure Congress (ESC Heart Failure 2023) held in Prague (Czech Republic) between 20-23 May and presented 2 studies conducted with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mevlüt Serdar Kuyumcu as poster presentations at the congress.

Furthermore, our student Sebahat Ulusan was selected and accepted to the European Society of Cardiology Summer School (ESC CBCS Summer School 2023) held in Sophia Antipolis (France) between 11-15 June among many applications. The work conducted by our student was selected by jury members, earning her the right to make an oral presentation. Additionally, our student served as a panelist in one session.

Our student Sebahat Ulusan shared the following: 'As a medical student, participating in the congresses of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), which is a pioneer in the field of cardiology, and presenting at these congresses was truly a great experience. Working with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mevlüt Serdar Kuyumcu, who has been my mentor for years, was truly a great opportunity. We thank everyone involved in these studies, especially my mentor Serdar, from the bottom of our hearts.'
