Success of Our Term 5 Student Ahmet Onat Özdemir

Our Term 5 student Ahmet Onat Özdemir participated in observation and research activities at the cancer research center (UCSF Helen Diller Medical Center, Okada lab) of Prof. Dr. Hideho Okada, a prominent neurosurgeon specialist, at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) School of Medicine during the 2025 summer period (July-October).

Özdemir also completed Erasmus programs twice at the University of Salerno (Italy), participated in the Neuro2024 conference (Japan) in the summer of 2024, and published an article in The American Journal of Medicine (October 2025). (Article link: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.amjmed.2025.05.049)
