Seventh and Final Session of the 360-Degree Active Living and Health Project Was Held
"360-Degree Active Living and Health" themed community engagement project's seventh and final session was held on December 23, 2024 in Term 3 Lecture Hall of Süleyman Demirel University Faculty of Medicine. In the session titled "Ergogenic Aids in Athletes"; doping and ergogenic support topics were discussed. Participants gained information about the correct and rational use of ergogenic aid products and the distinction between doping and ergogenic support.
In the session conducted with a presentation by Sports Medicine Department Research Assistant Dr. Görkem KIYAK, the effects of frequently used ergogenic aids on performance and factors to consider when using ergogenic aids were explained. The event concluded with important information about the effects of ergogenic aids on health.
The program was successfully completed with responses to questions from participants and their feedback. The seminar series titled "360-Degree Active Living and Health" concluded with a presentation titled "Ergogenic Aids in Athletes".
