Second Prize Award at the 27th National and 9th International Public Health Congress for Oral Presentation

Our oral presentation, which was presented at the 27th National and 9th International Public Health Congress held in Antalya between December 10-13, 2025, under the session title "Gender, Women and Reproductive Health," has been awarded second prize.

Our study was carried out within the scope of the project titled "Knowledge about Breast Cancer and Prevention Behaviors of Female Students at Suleyman Demirel University and the Effect of Breast Cancer and Breast Self-Examination Education," No. TSTK-2024-9502, supported by the Scientific Research Projects Coordination Unit of the Turkish Republic, Suleyman Demirel University.

The project aims to increase the level of knowledge about breast cancer among female students at Suleyman Demirel University (SDU) through education programs, provide knowledge and skills in breast self-examination/self-examination (Breast Self Examining, BSE), and evaluate and develop breast cancer prevention behaviors within the framework of the Health Belief Model. The oral presentation was based on the evaluation of this education process and the outputs obtained.
