SDÜ Medical Students Continue History of Medicine and Archeology Trips

Süleyman Demirel University Faculty of Medicine "Medical Students Club" History of Medicine-Archeology Hobby Group organized a trip to the ancient city of "Sagalassos".

The trip aimed to allow medical students undergoing an intensive educational process to visit historical and cultural sites, raise awareness in history of medicine education, and strengthen the social aspects of our students.

The History of Medicine and Ethics Department and the Medical Students Club will continue their activities with the ancient city of "Adada" and "Yazılı Canyon".

The planning of the trips is being conducted by Head of the History of Medicine and Ethics Department Assist. Prof. Dr. Fuat İnce and our medical students Mehmet Ali Aydın, Fevzi Topbaş, Türkan Yasin, Serra Beyoğlu, and Fatma Benli. Drone photography from the air is being done by our medical student Furkan Gökdoğan.

We thank the Faculty Administration, our esteemed faculty member responsible for the SDÜ Medical Students Club Prof. Dr. Özgür Pirgon, coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehtap Savran, and specialist Uğur Biçer from Burdur Museum who guided our students during the trips.
