SDU Emergency Medicine Department's First Ultrasound Course Days
The SDU Emergency Medicine Department is organizing SDU Emergency Medicine Department's First Ultrasound Course Days to enhance the knowledge and skills of resident physicians in bedside ultrasound (POCUS), which is an indispensable component of emergency department practice. This educational program, to be held on February 8 and 15, will cover Basic Echocardiography, Hepatobiliary Ultrasound, E-FAST and Aorta examination, and Procedural Ultrasound, based on ultrasound physics fundamentals. During the course, theoretical foundation will be presented in morning sessions, and practical skills will be enhanced through hands-on practice on live models in afternoon sessions. The event will be held with limited capacity, and priority will be given to Emergency Medicine residents.
