Poster Presentation Award to Department of Sports Medicine

Another milestone has been added to the academic achievements of our Faculty's faculty members. The poster presentation titled "Van Neck-Odelberg Disease in a Pediatric Footballer: A Case Report" prepared by Res. Assist. Dr. Ramazan Kürşat ERDAŞ in the field of Sports Medicine was deemed worthy of the "Best Poster Presentation" award at the 20th International Turkish Sports Medicine Congress held in Izmir between 8-11 May 2025.

The study was conducted under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Cem ÇETİN and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sabriye ERCAN from our Faculty's Department of Sports Medicine; and Prof. Dr. Yakup Barbaros BAYKAL and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Recep DİNÇER from the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology.

This study, which was deemed worthy of the award by the Congress Scientific Committee, was an excellent example of interdisciplinary cooperation between the fields of sports medicine and orthopedics. We congratulate our research assistant and our esteemed faculty members and wish them continued success.
