Our Faculty's Faculty Members' TÜBİTAK 1501 Industrial R&D (TEYDEB) Success.

The project titled "Multiple Magnetic Field Application Orthopedic Muscle and Tendon Injury Treatment Device (ORTEM)" prepared by our Faculty's faculty members and submitted under the TÜBİTAK 1501 Industrial R&D (TEYDEB) program has been approved as a result of the 2024-2 term evaluations.

This project presents an innovative approach to the treatment of orthopedic and sports-related muscle and tendon injuries, aiming to accelerate the healing process and enhance patient comfort. The device to be developed as part of the project is expected to fill an important gap in modern medicine by utilizing multiple magnetic field technology.

The ORTEM project, created with contributions from the Faculty of Medicine Project Office, includes Prof. Dr. Halil Aşcı, Faculty Member of the Department of Medical Pharmacology of our Faculty; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sabriye Ercan, Faculty Member of the Department of Sports Medicine; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Recep Dinçer, Faculty Member of the Department of Orthopedics; Assist. Prof. Dr. M. Yusuf Tepebaşı, Faculty Member of the Department of Medical Genetics; and Assist. Prof. Dr. Mesut Ergan, Faculty Member of the Faculty of Health Sciences, as researchers. Retired Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Selçuk Çömlekçi also participates in the team as an employee of FutureFit, the project's executing firm.
