Our Faculty's 2024-2025 Academic Year Opened with a Ceremony

The Faculty of Medicine held its 2024-2025 Academic Year opening ceremony with the participation of our Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet SALTAN. The opening ceremony was attended by the Hospital's Chief Physician and Deputy Chief Physician, distinguished faculty members of our Faculty, and external stakeholder representatives.

A dance performance presented by our Term 4 student Stj. Dr. Gizem İdil TUNÇBILK and dance partner Basri KARANFIL was viewed with appreciation during the ceremony.

Following the opening remarks by our Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Nilgün ŞENOL, Deputy Dean Doç.Dr. Mehtap SAVRAN, Term 1 coordinators, and the Chair of the Department of Medical Education and Informatics Doç. Dr. Mukadder İnci BAŞER KOLCU provided information to our newly enrolled Term 1 students regarding medical education, accreditation, and educational processes.

Subsequently, our Term 6 student and Faculty Representative Int. Dr. M.Emin AĞIR shared his insights and observations that could benefit students throughout the educational process and concluded his remarks by responding to questions from our students. The Orientation Week for our Term 1 students will continue with hospital clinical visits and seminars.

As the Faculty of Medicine of SDÜ, we welcome our newly enrolled students and wish them a successful academic term.
