Medical R&D Third Place Achievement in Turkey

Dr. Lecturer Fuat İNCE from the Department of Basic Medical Sciences at our Faculty, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ümit KARA from Isparta Health Services Vocational School faculty, and Dr. Yağmur KARA, intensive care specialist at Isparta City Hospital, were recognized for third place in Turkey and awarded 20,000 TL in prize money for their presentation titled "iNOcap" in the medical category of the 10th Research and Development Project Marketplace Competition, organized with the approval of the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Commerce, under the coordination of the Turkish Exporters Council (TİM), and organized by the Istanbul Chemical Products and Manufacturers Exporters Association (İKMİB).

Going forward, the work in question will be followed and supported by TİM with necessary assistance provided.

The inhalable nitric oxide cold atmospheric plasma (iNOcap) device prototype, which opens the way for the use of nitric oxide (NO) in medical applications through a new method, was developed by Dr. Lecturer Fuat İNCE and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ümit KARA under the roof of our University in the Lakes Region Technopark with project support, by İnosante Medical Health Products Manufacturing and Trade Inc., which has chosen medical and health R&D/innovation activities as its field of work.

We congratulate Dr. Lecturer Fuat İNCE and his colleagues on their successful presentation that earned them third place in Turkey and the award they received, and wish them success in their work.
