Major International Success from Süleyman Demirel University: An Important Publication in Sleep Physiology and Cardiology

Süleyman Demirel University Faculty of Medicine continues to make its mark in the international scientific arena. A study conducted by a multi-center research group that includes Prof. Dr. Mustafa Saygın, Chair of our Faculty's Department of Physiology, which sheds light on the relationship between sleep apnea and coronary artery disease, has been published in "Annals of the American Thoracic Society," one of the most prestigious journals in the field.

The fact that our University actively participated in this study, carried out in cooperation with leading academic institutions around the world such as Koç University, Gothenburg University (Sweden), University of Pittsburgh (USA), and Harvard Medical School (USA), is an indicator of our academic vision and research capacity. Supporting scientific productivity and increasing the number of publications that shape world literature are our core priorities.
