Internet Initial Access Screen (Captive Portal) Application
In accordance with the criteria specified in Law No. 5651 published in Official Gazette No. 26530 dated May 23, 2007, regarding the regulation of internet publications and combating crimes committed through such publications, and the Information Security Guide of the Presidential Digital Transformation Office, a computer access screen (Captive Portal) application has been implemented at our University as of October 11, 2024, at the initial access stage to internet access services.
The Information Processing Department at our university has been implementing Domain system configurations on computers registered as institutional assets. Computers included in the Domain system will not encounter the access screen (Captive Portal) application. For computers not included in the Domain system, if users do not see the access screen, they can access the internet by logging in through their browsers at "erisim.sdu.edu.tr".
