Fifth Intern Workshop Held

 

The fifth Intern Workshop, organized at our Faculty to address the education, professional development, field experience, challenges, and proposed solutions for intern doctors, was held on June 9, 2026 in Dean's Meeting Room A.

The workshop, moderated by Prof. Dr. Özgür Önal, a faculty member of the Department of Public Health, was attended by our Faculty Assistant Deans Doç. Dr. Mehtap Savran and Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Furkan Çağrı Oğuzlar, Year VI Coordinator Prof. Dr. Filiz Alkaya Solmaz, faculty members of the Department of Medical Education and Informatics Doç. Dr. M. İnci Başer Kolcu and Giray Kolcu, Assistant Chief Physician Doç. Dr. Onur Ünal, and research assistants from the Department of Public Health Dr. Ayşegül Ataseven, Dr. Hasan Kürşat İnci, and Dr. Furkan Sevimbiga.

While intern physicians conducted the general evaluation, four representatives selected from Year V students also participated in the meeting as observers and monitors to ensure follow-up, evaluation, and sustainability of the issues raised and solutions developed at the workshop. The workshop concluded with the presentation of certificates of appreciation to the participating faculty members, research assistants, and students. We thank everyone who contributed.
