Faculty of Medicine Year 1 Students Met With Isparta Provincial Disaster and Emergency Management Directorate Staff in the Social Responsibility Course.

Our Year 1 students hosted the Isparta Provincial Disaster and Emergency Management Directorate at the Social Responsibility Course held on February 25, 2025. The course began with an opening speech by Mr. Bilal Öztürk, Director of Isparta Provincial Disaster and Emergency Management. Following disaster awareness training and a prize-winning KAHOOT competition, our students received tent setup training from professional teams in a designated area on campus. After a musical performance by our Faculty's Year 1 music group, a tent setup competition was held. The course concluded with humanitarian aid and psychosocial support training and an award ceremony. In addition to these trainings, an AFAD booth set up at our Faculty entrance throughout the morning, along with UMKE rescue vehicles and equipment demonstrations, were visited by students from both our Faculty and other faculties sharing the same area.
