Exemplary Conduct of Our Teaching Staff

It is not considered appropriate within the general framework of research ethics for academics who serve as organizing committee chairs, organizing committee members, or secretaries at congresses, symposiums, and similar scientific events to receive awards in the organizations where they hold such positions.

In the award selection process conducted within the scope of the 4th International / 7th National Health Services Congress (INHSC 2025) organized by Suleyman Demirel University School of Medicine on November 21-22, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dilek Özkaya and Res. Assist. Dr. Hüseyin Yılmaz, who were deemed worthy of the first-place award as a result of the blind review process, declined the award due to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dilek Özkaya being an organizing committee member.

The exemplary conduct displayed in accordance with the principles of scientific impartiality and ethical sensitivity during the congress process has been deemed worthy of appreciation as it reflects commitment to academic values. In this regard, thank you certificates were presented to the relevant academics by our Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Nilgün Şenol before the Faculty Management Board meeting held on January 28, 2026.

The aforementioned thank you certificates were presented to promote understanding of research ethics and awareness of academic responsibility, and we once again thank our teaching staff and wish them continued success.
