Breast Cancer Awareness and Breast Self-Examination Training Provided to Isparta Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services.

Upon the request of Isparta Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services, Prof. Dr. Ersin Uskun, faculty member of the Department of Public Health at the Faculty of Medicine, conducted breast cancer awareness and breast self-examination training to female personnel at the Isparta Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services on November 28, 2024. The training included information transfer to participants regarding breast cancer diagnosis and screening. Emphasizing the importance of performing breast self-examination regularly, practical demonstrations using a model provided participants with breast self-examination skills. At the end of the training, feedback was received indicating that participants needed such training and benefited significantly from the education provided.
