Announcement to Our Students
ANNOUNCEMENT
Through the initiative of our faculty's Mevlana Coordinator, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) in Iran and our University, along with the Mevlana Protocol. The Protocol and MoU are presented in the attachments to this announcement.
As a result of discussions held between our Department Directorate and TUMS, TUMS announced that it will organize a free summer school (applied medical sciences education) for our faculty students in the category of a joint TUMS and SDÜ program, with participants from other countries as well.
For the 2022 TUMS Summer School;
1-Starting on August 12 and ending on August 26, lasting a total of two weeks,
2-The scientific program will be conducted between August 12-24, and tours to Iran's historical, cultural and tourist sites will be organized between August 19-25,
3-It is planned that the first week of the program will be conducted at the Anesthesiology and Ophthalmology Departments and Endocrinology and Metabolism Research Institute, and the second week will be conducted at the Internal Medicine and Pediatrics Departments,
4-Within the scope of the Summer School; all expenses in Iran such as course participation, airport transfer and accommodation will be covered by TUMS, with participants only responsible for their own airfare,

Information and detailed programs in pdf format from TUMS are presented below. It is believed that it would be beneficial for our students to participate in this applied Summer School where leading scientists in their field will serve as instructors and all expenses (except airfares) will be covered by TUMS.
