Health Screening in Elderly Male Individuals Living in Rural Areas

The implementation phase of the project titled "Health Screening in Elderly Male Individuals Living in Rural Areas," which is supported by our university's Research Projects Unit and planned in collaboration with our Department, has begun. The community service project team is led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emine Elif Özkan and includes Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özgür Önal, Assoc. Prof. Dr. İlter İlhan, Lecturer Sevgi Tulupcu, Lecturer Gülsüm Özcan Çetiner, and Research Assistant Feyza Bardak. Within the scope of the project, prostate-specific antigen level screening, blood pressure, and pulse measurements will be conducted in eight villages: Kayı, Küçükhacılar, Deregümü, Çukurköy, Direkli, Kışla, Gelincik, and Güneyce. The project is planned to continue through April 30, 2025. We extend our gratitude to all the faculty members involved in the project for their work.
