Health and Medicine Session at "Isparta's Past, Present, Future III" Symposium Was Held Under the Chairmanship of Our Faculty
The Health and Medicine Session held as part of the "Isparta's Past, Present, Future III" Symposium organized by Süleyman Demirel University was conducted under the Chairmanship of our Faculty of Medicine on Thursday, October 30, 2025.
While our Faculty's administration presided over the session, important presentations related to the health and medicine field were made. In the event, the development process of Süleyman Demirel University Hospital, the transformation of medical education, and Isparta's potential in the health field were discussed in a multifaceted manner.
In the presentations;
The development process of Süleyman Demirel University Hospital from its establishment to the present day, the regional impact of the health services it provides, and its future goals,
Isparta's experience in medical education, innovative applications, quality processes, and future vision,
Water hygiene, environmental risk factors in the city, and their impact on public health,
Isparta's medicinal plants and sustainable use of local health potential,
The effects of increasing vehicle traffic and air pollution on public health
and similar topics were comprehensively evaluated.
The Pharmacy Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Ebru ÇUBUK DEMİRALAY, SDÜ Hospital Chief Physician Prof. Dr. Taylan OKSAY and Assistant Chief Physicians, representatives from Social Contribution and Stakeholder Coordination, faculty members, specialist physicians, students, and administrative staff participated and contributed to the session.
During the session, participants discussed SDÜ's institutional development in the health field, strategic approaches to the future of medical education, and contributions to Isparta's health ecosystem, while engaging in comprehensive information exchange regarding the development process of health services, medical education, and public health. The session was concluded with a question and answer section, while emphasis was placed on the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in the health field.
