"4th International / 7th National Health Services Congress" Was Held at Our Faculty.

The 4th International and 7th National Health Services Congress, organized under the auspices of Suleyman Demirel University Faculty of Medicine and bringing together domestic and foreign academics, physicians, researchers, and students, began with the opening ceremony held at the SDÜ Faculty of Medicine Amphitheater.

Attending the congress were Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Alim Koşar, Faculty of Medicine Dean Prof. Dr. Nilgün Şenol, SDÜ Hospital Chief Physician Prof. Dr. Taylan Oksay, national and international invited speakers, academics, and numerous students.

The program began with a moment of silence and the singing of the National Anthem. Prior to the opening, guests were treated to a musical performance by the Academic Chamber Orchestra, composed of faculty members from the Fine Arts Faculty.

Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Alim Koşar, who delivered the opening address of the congress, expressed his satisfaction with the level the event has reached, saying, "We are organizing the seventh of this congress. It was not easy to reach this point. To maintain a congress that has become routine is truly very valuable."

Congress Chair Assist. Prof. Dr. Fuat İnce stated in his remarks: "We are proud to have elevated this congress to the international level. We have maintained it to this day by updating its concept and content, and we continue to share the excitement of this together."

Faculty of Medicine Vice Dean and Congress Chair Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehtap Savran also emphasized the importance of the event for the Faculty, saying, "I am delighted that this event, which has become traditional for our Faculty, has now acquired international standing. Our students are fortunate to be part of such a comprehensive organization."

Faculty of Medicine Dean Prof. Dr. Nilgün Şenol noted that this year's congress focused on the theme "Developments Shaping the Health Field," stating that technological innovations will provide real benefits to health services only when used within the proper ethical framework. Highlighting that the congress, which brings together academics from different countries, strengthens scientific collaboration, Prof. Dr. Nilgün Şenol expressed their pleasure in hosting the event.

University Hospital Chief Physician Prof. Dr. Taylan Oksay highlighted the importance of congresses for academic collaboration, saying, "Such congresses are a major source of motivation, especially for students and those new to science. International participation also significantly enhances the value of our congress."

Throughout the congress at SDÜ Faculty of Medicine, which will continue until Saturday, November 22, participants from both within and outside the country will continue to share their scientific research, views, and practical results in various sessions.
