HISTORY Department of Physiology was established in July 17, 1993. on 07.03.1994 Professor Dr. Sadettin ÇALIŞKAN primary member in the Department and the Department began to serve as Chairman. After separation from the Department until November of 2012, Prof. Dr. Halis KÖYLÜ was the chairman. Later Prof. Dr. Ahmet KOYU took over the job and he has been the Head of Department. Our Department is currently 5 faculty member, 1 expertise and 5 PhD, 2 graduate student. 5 doctor of science in the Department of Physiology expert, 7 science doctor and 3 Science specialist. LOCATION AND CAPACITY Our department is located in the Faculty of Medicine Morphology Building. 4 laboratories (General Physiology Student Laboratory, Bioanalysis, Electrophysiology and Bioelectromagnetics Laboratory) available. RESEARCH ASSISTANT TRAINING PROCESS A period of one year postgraduate training course and dissertation stage of a year, a total of 2 years. Medical except those who have received a bachelor's degree one year after taking remedial courses may begin graduate studies. Doctoral research fellow in physiology and expertise in the field of education training period of 4 years. Advanced Physiology course shows the first two years. Two years later the thesis work is done. Every week on Wednesday hours are scheduled seminars and articles.
